TF 3

The power separation filter TF 3 is used to permit a safe connection of reflectometers without own separation filter safely to life low voltage cables, and to protect the reflectometer as well as the user from this voltage.

This permits for example the location of intermittent faults or the measurement in areas where the customer supply cannot be disconnected. For this, the TF 3 fulfils the safety category CAT IV up to 400 V.
