The new T 30-E now comes with the same user interface as its field proven predecessor, the T 3050.

A number of customer requests persuaded us to convert our new LinuxÒ based, battery driven T 30-E reflectometer to the proven user interface philosophy. As a consequence, we now support the three operating modes “Quick Step”, “Step-by-Step Easy Mode” and the “Expert Mode”. Using the large 10.4“ HighBrite screen, which guarantees faultless readability even in direct sunlight, the T 30-E is now the right solution for every user.

Using the “Quick Step” mode, fault location is now child’s play. The operator only has to confirm the automatically measured cable end and the V/2, or select this from a list. After just a single measurement, the distance to the fault will be automatically displayed.

The „Step-by-Step Easy Mode“ provides a menu guided user interface as if it were a complete training course and does this together with every available SebaKMT Surgeflex or shock discharge generator. Learning was never easier.

”Expert Mode” is for those who always like to keep control of everything. The user interface offered then corresponds to quite normal, conventional operation.

If you don’t like the new display, in setup you can choose the previous version.
