The location of long metallic supply and waste water pipes continues to present a challenge as the location signal is often interrupted by intermediate parts and by joints.

The Metrotech FM810DX location system can help here, which is amongst the best selling location systems worldwide. The intuitive guidance, leading left or right, makes locating the course of metallic pipelines particularly easy.

The FM810DX is a further developed variant, which benefits from this characteristic, just like its predecessor. The location frequency of 83 kHz has been especially chosen and increases the location precision and thus the effectiveness of the work. Due to the high frequency the signal “jumps over” joints and intermediate parts and can thus be located over long distances.
