Product news

We have developed the new Teleflex LV monitor for fault location in branched low voltage networks.
The Teleflex LV monitor is designed for online location of intermittent, transient and permanent faults in low voltage cables without switching off the grid. The system uses the reflection and travelling wave methods, and is therefore independent of cable plans. Three phases are monitored, where at least one phase must carry voltage to power the device. While monitoring for faults takes place, the voltage of the phases is recorded. If a fault occurs, the time is stored so that the effect of this parameter is immediately visible.
The Teleflex LV Monitor comes in a sturdy, watertight Pelicase housing, with waterproof sockets for a three-phase measuring line, for connecting a clamp meter and a GSM antenna. It is controlled using a notebook or a desktop PC, with data transferred via the integrated bluetooth interface or the GSM modem. The Teleflex LV monitor can store up to 20 trigger events. The events are triggered by a voltage dip or a surge in current.
Measuring functions: - TDR mode in all connection versions, direct and differential measurements of phase/N or phase/phase - TRS mode for recording transient travelling waves and evaluation using synchronisation pulses. - Three-phase voltage monitor also allows detection of load changes
It is supplied with three-phase, protected measuring cables, current measuring tongs with connecting cable, a GSM antenna with connecting cable and a CD containing the software and operating instructions. A SIM card is not supplied and must be purchased separately by the customer.
