100 cable test vans delivered to the Russian railways

In May 2008 our partner plant MES Moscow installed the 100th cable test van for the Russian railways.

During a dinner ceremony, representatives of the ministry of railways and our partner plant emphasised the importance of this long-standing strategic partnership for all those involved. The power supply to Russia's electrified rail lines is now much more reliable, and there is much less downtime due to cable problems. Both sides expect continued demand for state-of-the-art, non-destructive testing and diagnosis systems. This is because of the continuing installation of new cable technology. Thus, or continued partnership will remain an important part of ministry policy.
