Cable diagnosis as a service for PE/XLPE and paper insulated cables and OWTS partial discharge diagnosis

You know the problem:

As the decision taker, you bear the responsibility for keeping the cable network in your supply area in good working order. To make investment decisions about new cables, you need regular information about the state of your network.

Often too few measurements are available to be able to justify investment in personnel and their training or in the purchase of diagnosis systems.

Wouldn't it be easier to leave the diagnosis to qualified experts in this case?

Experienced specialists who can quickly carry out reliable investigations, due to their daily use of the very latest analysis technology?

Who not only have experience of more than 2000 cable and network diagnoses, but who can also make use of an expert database.

The cable diagnosis process assesses the state of the cable insulation with a comparably low voltage.

  • For PE/XLPE cables the aging of the cable and any damage is determined and thus its suitability for testing and repair.
  • Through the use of low test voltages, the breakdown during service of heavily aged cables can be ruled out or, when using nominal test voltages, additional problems with sleeves and terminations as well as sheath faults can be shown.
  • For paper insulated cables the average moisture level and the state of the insulation are shown. Wet sleeves and local damages are detected.
