The Bartec 20T is a self balancing, digital DC fault location bridge for telecommunications and signal cables.
Location is carried out by the Murray Loop, three point and Küpfmüller methods. For low resistance loops the four wire test is available. Results can be expressed in terms of distance or resistance. When a circuit is made up of several sections of different cross section the location is carried out automatically by feeding in the lengths and cross section of these sections taking into account also the cable temperature.
The effects of interference voltages, insulation resistances, loop resistances and resistance differencies can be cancelled out.
